About GerCanada

Canadian immigration consulting, focused on LatAm clients.

GerCanada is a Canadian immigration consulting firm focused on Latin American clients. We combine operational experience with live IRCC data so every case is decided on facts, not assumptions.

Who is accountable for your case

Immigration advice is provided by Juan Pablo Martinez Alanis, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) registered with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) under registration number R507844, Class L2 licence, in active standing. His initial licence dates from 29 June 2012 — more than a decade of regulated practice, not a practice opened last year.

You do not have to take our word for it: the CICC publishes an open register where anyone can look that number up and see its current status. Check it in the CICC register.

In Canada, only consultants registered with the CICC, lawyers and paralegals who are members of a provincial or territorial law society, and Quebec notaries may charge to represent you before IRCC. If someone offers the service without a registration number you can verify, they are not authorised to charge you for it.

Who we work with

Most of our clients are travellers, students, professionals and families from Latin America and Spain who need a Canadian travel authorization, a visitor visa, or a study or work permit — and who would rather have someone check the file before it is filed than find out about a mistake at the airport or in a refusal letter.

How we work

  • Transparent: clear fees and timelines before we start. eTA assistance is CAD $95 in total, including the CAD $7 government fee.
  • Data-driven: live IRCC processing times and draw results — not year-old estimates.
  • Personal: direct WhatsApp throughout, in Spanish or English.
  • Honest: if your case does not qualify, we tell you before charging — we do not sell filings that will not work.

What we specialize in

Why live data matters

Rules and processing times change often. We read IRCC processing times and the results of Express Entry draws and provincial draws straight from the official source, and publish a page per draw with its figures. So what we tell you reflects what is true this week, not what was true last year — and you can check it yourself.

Where we are, and how we work with you

We work from Vancouver, British Columbia, and serve clients across Latin America and Spain remotely, in Spanish and English. We answer WhatsApp during Pacific office hours, usually the same business day and always within 24 hours on weekdays; weekend messages are answered on Monday. We do not use contact forms: WhatsApp is faster and leaves you a record of the conversation.

What we do not do

  • We are not part of the Government of Canada. You can file any of this yourself on canada.ca; we charge for the review, the preparation and the follow-up.
  • We do not promise outcomes. IRCC decides, and at the border the officer does. What we control is that the file arrives complete and consistent.
  • We do not take cases that do not qualify. It is the fastest way to lose your money and our time.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with clients outside Canada?

Yes. We work remotely with clients across Latin America and Spain; communication is by WhatsApp and email, in Spanish or English.

Are you part of the Government of Canada?

No. GerCanada is a private immigration consulting service. You can apply directly on canada.ca; what we provide is the review, the preparation and the follow-up.

What does working with you cost?

Travel authorization (eTA) assistance is CAD $95 in total, including the CAD $7 government fee. Other applications are quoted per case, always before we start.

What if my case does not qualify?

We tell you before you pay. We would rather lose a sale than file an application that will be refused: a refusal stays on your record and makes the next one harder.

How do I start?

If you are not sure which application applies to you, use the eTA or visa checker: four questions and you will know which document you need. If you already know, message us on WhatsApp.

Tell us about your case

Send us your nationality, why you are going to Canada and roughly when you want to travel. With that we can tell you which application applies and what it costs, with no obligation.
